A third generation Clarkstown resident, Justin attended Little Tor Elementary School and Street Elementary School, Felix Festa Middle School and Clarkstown North High School. He graduated from Buffalo State College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, cum laude. After college he worked for several years at the family business, McCall Abstract. McCall Abstract was started by his grandfather Robert McCall in New City in 1964. After several years at the family business, Justin decided he could do better by his growing family by attending law school. In August of 2002, he attended Pace University School of Law on a merit scholarship at night while working full time. He graduated cum laude from the law school in December 2005, a semester ahead of the schools curriculum schedule. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2006.
Justin has been involved in public service in many aspects of our community. He was a former member of the Board of Directors of the Rockland Independent Living Center. As a member and volunteer on the New City Elementary PTA Board, he was one of the parent volunteers that ran the publishing center at New City Elementary School for two and a half years. He volunteered in various capacities with the New City Little League. Justin is also a proud member of the Congers-Valley Cottage Rotary Club, which contributes to many local and global causes. In 2008, he took a job as a Constituent Representative and Committee Clerk at the County Legislature with the intention of learning more about how the County actually runs and government in general. In that time he learned many valuable lessons that are of great use to him as the Town Clerk.
Justin is also a successful small businessman. In 2005, while attending law school, he left his job at the family business and started his own Title Agency in New City, High Tor Abstract. The business is still thriving today under the operation of Justins wife and mother. Justin has brought many of the lessons he learned operating a small business with him to the Town Clerks Office.
Justin lives in New City with his wife Olga and their six children.
