The Grand Council of United Emerald Societies is a political umbrella organization representing Emerald Societies from Law Enforcement, the Fire Service, Sanitation Services, Mass Transportation, Education, Trades and Public Utilities. A majority of our affiliated societies, and their membership, are based within the five counties of New York City, as well as the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess and Putnam.
The Grand Council welcomes endorsement requests from candidates that feel their candidacy would reflect the needs of the nearly ten thousand members of our organization.
